Cookie Policy
for agriturismobergi.com
What is a cookie and what is it used for?
A cookie is a small file that is sent to the browser and saved on the user's device when they access and use the website www.agriturismobergi.com (hereinafter, the "Site"). Cookies enable the Site to function efficiently and improve its performance, including by collecting and analyzing aggregate information, which allows the Site operator to understand how to improve the structure of the Site and its sections. Cookies can also be used to collect information for statistical purposes, primarily to personalize the user's browsing experience by remembering their preferences (for example, language, currency, etc.). To ensure the Site functions properly and displays its pages correctly, scripts in external domains are used. These do not, in any case, involve the installation of cookies or other tracking tools.
What cookies do we use?
Technical cookies
Technical cookies can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the Site (allowing, for example, coordination of the forms that make up the Site's pages or correlation of pages visited during the same work session), and analytics cookies, which are similar to technical cookies only if used for Site optimization purposes directly by the Site operator (so-called first-party analytics cookies). This may collect aggregate information on the number of users and how they visit the Site (for example, to compile statistics on the most visited pages, to collect aggregate data on visits by operating system, browser, etc.).
The use of session cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) and software usage data necessary to enable safe and efficient browsing of the site. Session variables (so-called cookies) can avoid the use of IT techniques that could potentially compromise the privacy of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user. Session cookies are not stored permanently on the user's device, but are recorded locally for periods of time established based on the session variables (the values of which, stored on the device's hard drive, can, however, be deleted; it is also possible to disable cookies by following the instructions provided by major browsers).
We do not use cookies to profile users, nor are other tracking methods employed.
Data analysis via Google Analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics. This is a Google analytics tool that uses performance cookies to collect anonymous browsing data for the purpose of evaluating user use of the Site, compiling reports on Site activity, and providing other information, including the number of visitors and pages visited.
The Site does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) Google Analytics to monitor or collect personally identifiable information. Google does not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google, nor does it attempt to link an IP address to a user's identity. Google may also share this information with third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.
For more information on how Google Analytics uses and manages cookies, please consult Google's cookie policy at the following link: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies?hl=en&gl=en.
Third-party Cookies
Third-party cookies are set by a website other than the one the user is visiting and reside on servers other than the one of the visited site. Therefore, the use of data collected by these external operators through cookies is subject to their respective privacy policies. The use of third-party cookies is limited to what is necessary for safe and efficient navigation of the Site and does not involve the direct acquisition of the user's personal identifying data by the Data Controller.
While browsing the Site, the user may also receive cookies on their device that are sent to interact directly with social media platforms.
The Site, in particular, incorporates Facebook and LinkedIn buttons and widgets. These services allow interaction with social networks, or other external platforms, directly from the Site's pages.
The interactions and information acquired through these tools are, in any case, subject to the user's privacy settings for each social network and are accessible exclusively to the managers of those platforms.
For more information on how data collected by social networks is processed, please refer to the privacy policies of the providers of these services.
For more information on data collection through Google services, please refer to the privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Use of the Google Maps service is also subject to the related additional Terms of Service at https://privacy.google.com/businesses/mapscontrollerterms/.
How can I disable cookies?
Most browsers are configured to accept, control, or disable cookies through the settings. However, please note that disabling even partially technical cookies could compromise the functioning of the Site and/or limit its functionality.
Disabling third-party cookies, however, does not affect navigation in any way.
